Sea project

It’s been a few weeks since we last posted and we’ve had a few emails asking if we’re still alive! We are - we’re here! We’ve just been having a bit of break since Christmas but are now getting ready for a busy February and March. I’m heading over to Vancouver at the end of February to shoot with the simply astounding guys at Bebb Studio, as well as trips to finish off a job in Cairo and shoots in London in March.
At the moment we’re in the middle of an album cover commission. The record company wants the cover image to have a ’sea’ theme as that fits in with the title and theme of the album. Although we have a clear idea about what the client is looking for, unusually for commission like this we’ve been given a lot of artistic freedom in how we deliver the clients requirements.
Here’s some of the work in progress. The process is that the client will review these, choose the ideas that they like and then we’ll work more on those - developing the themes and pushing the ideas further. I’ll try to post more as the project develops and I’ll certainly post the finished album cover in March.
